Editorial Policy

UWJMS is a Journal of repute with wide circulation, both nationally and internationally. The Journal, published by the Faculty of Management Sciences of UW is devoted to the promotion and dissemination of quality knowledge in the field of emerging management issues. The hard copy of each issue of the journal is distributed to universities, business professionals, practitioners, academicians, libraries, financial institutions, and government organizations within Pakistan and some partner institutions internationally. It is an Open Access Journal with all published articles also available online on the journal website i.e. The Journal charge ‘No Fee’ to scholars for publishing research papers in the journal. However, the Journal will pay a minimum of US$100/- to foreign reviewers and Rs. 5,000/- to the local reviewer for each review (particularly, when the journal is be recognized by HEC).

The Journal is published annually both in soft and hard forms. Strictly following APA writing and referencing style, the Journal follows the HEC Anti-plagiarism Policy, wherein all research papers would be checked through Turnitin software before screening for publication. The Journal accepts research papers having Turnitin Similarity Index 19% or below. All data, views, opinions, etc., that are published in research papers of this Journal shall bear the sole responsibility of the respective authors. The Faculty of Management Sciences, UW Pakistan including its chief-in-editor, editor, associate editor, assistant editor, and publishing team is not assumed any responsibility for the views expressed in the articles. All research papers submitted to UWJMS for possible publication(s) can be sent through in soft copy.

Licensing Policy

University of Wah Journal of Management Sciences (UWJMS) uses Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License to protect the author’s work from misuse. Under this license, the author’s published in UWJMS retain the copyright and publishing rights of their scholarly work. All other authors using the content of UWJMS are required to cite the names of the author(s) as well as of the journal in their work. Articles of UWJMS can be read and shared for purposes under the following condition:

Open Access Policy

University of Wah Journal of Management Sciences (UWJMS) is an open-access journal. Open-access means content is freely available without charge to the user or institution. Users are allowed to read, download, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

University of Wah Journal of Management Sciences (UWJMS) is committed to promoting the global knowledge exchange through free research available to the public. Therefore, it provides open access to all the published content immediately. Full text of articles is made available in the Archives section of the official website.

Copyright Policy

Author’s retain the copyrights and will grant University of Wah Journal of Management Sciences  (UWJMS)  the non-exclusive rights of first publication of the manuscript electronically and in print form and to identify UWJMS as the original publisher under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. It will allow others to share the content with an explicit indication of the authorship and its initial publication in UWJMS. Under these licensing terms, the author (s) confirm that all the content of the published manuscript will be distributed in the public domain and other researchers may use it exclusively for any scientific purpose with the obligatory acknowledgment of authorship.

Access and Submission Process

UWJMS aims to provide annual publication, published after peer-review from editorial board members from across the world. It provides a platform for research in areas of management, human resource, finance, and marketing. The review process involves the ‘Editorial Manager System’ i.e. encompassing an online manuscript submission, review, and managing systems. All articles undergo a blind-peer-review process prior to acceptance. The review process is carried out by the editorial board, comprising members of UWJMS. Acceptance of any citable manuscript is entailed approval by a minimum of two independent reviewers, followed by the editor’s acceptance. Authors, aspiring to publish their research may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

  • UWJMS is an open-access journal. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in the journal can be read online without any form of restriction.
