Editorial Policy

UWJMS is a Journal of repute with wide circulation, both nationally and internationally. The Journal, published by the Faculty of Management Sciences of UW is devoted to the promotion and dissemination of quality knowledge in the field of emerging management issues. The hard copy of each issue of the journal is distributed to universities, business professionals, practitioners, academicians, libraries, financial institutions and government organizations within Pakistan and some partner institutions internationally. It is an Open Access Journal with all published articles also available online on the journal website i.e. http://www.uwjms.org.pk. The Journal charge ‘No Fee’ to scholars for publishing research papers in the journal. However, the Journal will pay a minimum of US$100/- to foreign reviewer and Rs. 5,000/- to local reviewer for each review (particularly, when journal is be recognized by HEC).

The Journal is published biannually, both in soft and hard copy, in the months of September and February each year. Strictly following APA writing and referencing style, the Journal follows the HEC Anti-plagiarism Policy, wherein all research papers would be checked through Turnitin software before screening for publication. The Journal accept research papers having Turnitin Similarity Index 19% or below. All data, views, opinions etc., that is published in research papers of this Journal shall bear the sole responsibility of the respective authors. The Faculty of Management Sciences, UW Pakistan including its chief-in-editor, editor, associate editor, assistant editors and publishing team is not assume any responsibility for the views expressed in the articles. Access and Submission Process

UWJMS aims to provide biannual publication, published after peer review from editorial board members from across

the world. It provides a platform for research in areas of management, human resource, finance, and marketing. Review process involves the ‘Editorial Manager System’ i.e. encompassing an online manuscript submission, review and managing systems. All articles undergo through a blind-peer-review process prior to acceptance. Review process is carried out by the editorial board, comprising members of UWJMS. Acceptance of any citable manuscript is entail approval by minimum two independent reviewers, followed by editor’s acceptance. Authors, aspiring to publish their research may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

  • UWJMS is an open access journal. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in the journal can be read online without any form of restriction.
